All about Galerías Mérida in Mérida, Mexico

Galerías Mérida is located, like most of the large malls, in the north of Mérida. Galerías Mérida and La Isla Mérida Malltertainment stand out together as the top two shopping centers in Mérida.

Following its expansion in 2018, Galerías Mérida has also claimed the title of the city's largest mall. Undoubtedly, it ranks among the most frequented malls, particularly bustling with activity on weekends.

One of the main attractions of Galerías Mérida is certainly the diverse selection of clothing stores it offers. You will find several local and international brands such as H&M or Pull&Bear, Zara, Bershka, Sfera or Stradivarius.

A Liverpool is part of the shopping center and Costco is located across the street. Galerías Mérida includes about 100 shops, a movie theater and a gym. There is even a skating rink in the middle of the shopping center. For the little ones, there's a rink on the way.

Galerías Mérida has a typical glossy shopping mall ambience, which is enhanced by the sheer size. Even though they are similar in size, La Isla looks a little cozier in comparison and not quite as "highly polished".

Of course there are also some restaurants, coffee shops and snack bars, but none really worth mentioning. But if you like Ki'Xocolatl at Parque de Santa Lucía, you will be delighted by the large store that moved into the mall in summer 2021.

Occasionally, also events take place at the shopping center, such as live performances, special sales or cultural events. If you are planning a visit, you may want to check the official website or social media.

When we have been to the mall during the week it has never been particularly crowded. There is no underground parking garage, but there are plenty of parking spaces in the shade if you park at the back entrance near the Ibis hotel.
