All about Marmalade 47 in Mérida, Mexico

Marmalade 47 is a cafe on Calle 47, the so-called Restaurant Row in Mérida, right next to the Baretto Espresso Bar. This is the newer cafe, there is another one on Avenue Andrés García Lavín (No. 337) in the San Antonio Cucul neighborhood in the north of Mérida.

You can get various delicious sandwiches, benedictinos and omlettes, or half a dozen different hamburgers (with pulled pork or guacamole, for example), and just as many sweets such as waffles, hot cakes, fruit plates, cakes and other pastries.

And being a cafe, there is of course a wide selection of drinks from espresso and cappuccino to tea chai latte, matcha, fruit juice and lemonade to Mexican hot chocolate. In addition to its own website, you can also find Marmelade on Facebook and on Instagram.

The Restaurant Row

Marmalade 47 is located on the so-called Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico) that extends about four blocks east on Calle 47 from the south traffic circle of Paseo de Montejo. The whole street was renovated in 2023 and there are some of the best restaurants and trendiest cafes in the city.

You will find the fine restaurants Olivia Enoteca, 130 Grados Steakhouse, Catrín or Micaela Mar & Leña, the cafés Cafetería Impala, Baretto Espresso Bar, Marmalade 47 or Latte Quatro Sette and the cantina El Lucero del Alba.
