All about Oliva Enoteca in Mérida, Mexico

Oliva Enoteca is one of the finer dining places in Mérida on the restaurant row (Calle 47). Pizza and pasta, tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella, olives, bruschetta, Parmesan cheese? There aren't many good Italian restaurants in Mérida.

One is Gran Pizzeria La Tratto Montejo with locations in Parque de Santa Lucia and north of Mérida. And Oliva Enoteca, with its spacious, modern ambiance and cocktail bar (with a view of the open kitchen), is undoubtedly also one of them.

In fact, it's best to book a few days in advance if you want to be sure of a table. As befits a top class restaurant, there is a very extensive wine list with over 200 white and red wines from all over the world.

Oliva Enoteca is located on the so-called Restaurant Row (Corredor Gastronómico) that extends about four blocks east on Calle 47 from the south traffic circle of Paseo de Montejo. The whole street was renovated in 2023 and there are some of the best restaurants and trendiest cafes in the city.

You will find the fine restaurants Olivia Enoteca, 130 Grados Steakhouse, Catrín or Micaela Mar & Leña, the cafés Cafetería Impala, Baretto Espresso Bar, Marmalade 47 or Latte Quatro Sette and the cantina El Lucero del Alba.

Further locations

Oliva is also present in four other locations in Mérida. Oliva Patio is located on Avenida García Lavín in the north of the city, Oliva Al Volo is located in Cuarto de Maquinas de Paseo 60, and Pizzeria Oliva is located in the Odara shopping plaza on Yucatán Avenue.
