Rosas & Xocolate is a small boutique hotel with spa facilities and a restaurant in two nice French-style mansions restored in 2007. It is located directly on Paseo de Montejo (towards downtown), is painted pink and therefore hard to miss.
The name of the hotel translates to "Roses and Chocolate" and reflects its fusion of luxury, art, design, and gastronomy. Like Casa Loltún the architecture combines traditional and contemporary elements. The hotel boasts a Spa, where guests can enjoy "chocolate-inspired" spa treatments and massages.
But Rosas & Xocolate is also renowned for its culinary offerings. The hotel's restaurant serves a blend of of Yucatecan and Mediterranean cuisine, often incorporating chocolate into various dishes.
You can sit inside or outside (and then watch the hustle and bustle on Paseo de Montejo) and enjoy your breakfast/brunch, lunch or dinner. Especially popular and well known in the city is especially the brunch. The restaurant offers a mix of Mediterranean and local cuisine.
