Colonial History and Modernity
Discover a mix of colonial history and modernity. In the heart of Mérida, the historic city center, a lovely chaos full of surprises, you will find the beautiful Casa Loltún - a fully restored 19th-century landmarked colonial house, and a separate apartment building.
The landmarked colonial house, redesigned by the known architect Xavier Salas and fully restored in 2022 and 2023, combines colonial heritage with modern architecture while the new apartments recites the colonial era. Every piece of furniture is handmade by artisans from Mérida, often from old Mexican wood like Tzalam (Mayan walnut) or Parota (burl wood).
Patio, Sun Deck, Pool and Loungers
An infinity pool and a garden terrace with a big sunroof are the focal points in the garden area of Casa Loltún, where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sunrise or have a glass of wine in the evening. Warm sun rays gently tickle your toes, slight breezes touches your face softly and luxurious sun loungers invite you to relax.
Enjoy a pool with water, blue as the sky and clean as crystal. The garden area with tropical plants, the pool and the covered sun deck is located between the main house and the apartment building - completely enclosed by high walls for privacy and security. Enjoy another covered terrace with seating at the main house. And for your convenience there is an additional bathroom.

Best Location in Mérida
Located in a quiet environment, it's a 5-minute stroll to Paseo de Montejo, the middle of the vibrant life of Mérida and central to all attractions of the historic district.
You will find tons of amazing spots to eat and drink, shops, museums, art galleries, spa treatments, beautiful parks and churches, great colonial buildings and colorful markets just a stone's throw away. There is literally no need for a car. Just 50 meters away you will find a small kiosk that sells food, snacks, sweets, water, soft drinks, etc.
Casa Loltun is located next to the brand new spectacular Gran Parque La Plancha. In fact, the largest and by far the most impressive park in Mérida is less than 100 meters away. It is the largest park of its kind in Latin America, celebrating the culture, history and natural treasures of the Yucatán.
The park has 220,000 sqm and offers plenty of nature on your doorstep. There are sports and recreation areas, a large lake, 2 museums, 5 restaurants, an amphitheater and many other great attractions. The park connects to Mérida's new Restaurant Row with some of the best restaurants and cafes, so Casa Loltún offers the perfect location in the historic city center, in between the two newest attractions in Mérida.
Excellent Transport Connections
The Ie-Tram station in Gran Parque La Plancha (100m from Casa Loltún) is the starting point of the new Ie-Tram Yucatán. The fully electric bus rapid transit network consists of 5 lines. This new means of transportation will link 20 attractions in the city and more than 137 neighbourhoods along its route.
You will also have a direct connection to the Teya Mérida train station. From there you can travel with Tren Maya - a 1,525-kilometre intercity train that runs around the Yucatán Peninsula.
24x7 Self-Check-in and Safety
You don't know exactly when you're coming yet? You don't have to. A self-check-in with an electronic house access allows you to arrive flexible at any time. For your safety there is a code-secured access to the property. This also means that you don't have to carry a key with you.
Mérida is considered to be one of the safest cities in America. Your safety with us is also very important. That's why we also have a secluded inner courtyard and camera surveillance. There are also smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit just in case, so you don't have to worry. In the main house you will also find a safe.

Every television has 4K Ultra HD for a perfect viewing experience (mainly Samsung). We also offer a TV guest mode: You can store the credentials of your personal streaming services, continue watching your movies and series just like at home - and have your credentials automatically and securely deleted on the day of your checkout.
Services (cooking, washing...)
Cleanliness is the be-all and end-all. Professional room cleaning before your arrival and fresh sheets, towels and bath towels are included. If you want additional cleaning, new bed linen or towels during your stay, you can book this at any time.
If you don't want to cook yourself (or dont't want to go two blocks further to the great new restaurant row), you can hire our cooking service to prepare a delicious Yucatecan or international breakfast, lunch or dinner exactly to your liking. If you would like to wash your clothes: A laundromat is only a few steps away - or a service employee will do this for an additional charge. If you need any help, our property management is always (24 hours a day) at your disposal.
