Since January 2021, the house on the left began to function as a museum. The family still lives in the house but they have allowed visitors to see an important part of the residence. The house is open to the general public from Thursday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Art Nouveau chandeliers, friezes and tracery, Carrara marble, columns, baseboards, ironwork, stained glass windows, and, in general, the decoration and furniture, are all from original European firms.
The architect Gustave Umbdenstock himself chose all inventory in 1911.
Such large Asian vases were very popular at the time.
A nice hidden detail: A foot switch was placed on the floor under the dining room table. The master of the house could use it to call the servants.
The children in the photos are now elderly men and women. During our visit the middle photo frame "girl" was in the house.
A billiard table should not be missing in the European-style master's room.
There are a large number of such seating areas in the building. It gives the impression that the space sometimes has to be filled somehow.
Different rooms can be looked at, but not always entered.
Art objects are a constant companion in the house.
